Since the end of the 19th century, Corfu has been established worldwide as a tourist destination. It is natural, therefore, that its tourism infrastructure should have developed to such a degree that today's visitor will find the perfect place for his holiday, whoever he is, whatever his requirements may be. In these pages, all types of accommodation business are recorded (hotels, rented rooms, camping sites) which operate officially in Corfu and are legally supplied by EOT with the required permit for the 2002 season.

2. Rented rooms in Corfu are divided into categories according to their facilities and according to the accommodation offered.

Studio: consists of an open-plan area with beds, kitchen facilities and bathroom. Sleeps 2-3 persons.

Two-room apartment: 2 bedrooms, hall, kitchen-dining room and bathroom. Sleeps 4-5 persons. .

Three-room apartment: 3 bedrooms, hall, kitchen-dining room and bathroom. Sleeps 6-7 persons .

Room with bath: One bedroom with separate bathroom

Room only: bedroom with shared bathroom.
